Las Vegas Golden Knights Battle the Raiders

The 4th Annual Battle For Vegas Charity Softball Game plays on Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin. Dubbed the Battle for Vegas, the game is held between the Las Vegas Raiders and the Vegas Golden Knights. The event aims for the teams to come close and raise some cash for a good cause. Since its inception in 2019, it has raised over $550,000 for local charities. This year the proceeds from the charity event will go to the Vegas Golden Knights Foundation, with funds distributed to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Southern Nevada. Battle For Vegas 2023[/caption] The Battle for Vegas charity match is held in the summer in a bustling, fun-filled atmosphere. In the last softball game of the charity event, the Raiders won 27-20. This year it will be hosted by Reilly Smith in a star-studded game. The teams battling for bragging rights are Team Reilly, led by captain Reilly Smith of the Golden Knights, and Team Maxx, directed by captain Maxx Crosby of the Raiders. Both teams have announced a roster that will feature current members of the Golden Knights and current Raiders members. The table below lists the confirmed active members of both teams.

The event organizers have planned a flyover with special appearances by mascots Chance, Spruce the Goose, Aviator, and others. Along with the charity event, there will also be a Fan Fest event that will take place on Friday and Saturday, July 21 and 22, at Downtown Summerlin. It will feature family-friendly interactive games, food and drinks, and autograph signing from players.

The Tickets

Tickets for the event have been on sale since Monday, April 17, 2023, at www.battleforvegas.com, www.ticketmaster.com, or the Las Vegas Ballpark ticket office. Tickets begin at $35 for the game. Everyone is welcome to the Fan Fest, and they can buy wristbands for the activities onsite. There are a limited number of elevated package experiences. Gates to the Las Vegas Ballpark in Summerlin will open at 5:30 pm for the event. The Home Run Derby will commence an hour later at 6:30 pm while the opening pitch will be at 7:30. Experience some post-game fireworks at 9:00 pm as you go home entertained and having helped the teams raise money for charity. The Battle for Vegas game is on July 22.
