Joe Trammel headlines "America — The Show" at Alexis Park Resort Hotel's Modern Showrooms. The format is 75 minutes of patriotic variety: powerhouse vocalists, Las Vegas showgirl dancers, and Trammel doing prop comedy. The setlist moves from "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" through "Viva Las Vegas" to Neil Diamond's "America," hitting regional touchstones along the way — Georgia, Texas, Chicago, San Francisco.

Alexis Park is off the Strip on East Harmon, which is a notable choice for a new weekly production. The Modern Showrooms is not a casino floor venue, so the crowd skews family and the room stays focused. At $37.95 for adults and $12.95 for kids, this undercuts most Strip showroom prices significantly; the average adult ticket for a comparable Strip variety show runs $20 to $40 higher. Every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm means it fits between an afternoon pool and dinner without forcing anyone to rearrange their night.

The production runs through December 31, 2026 — 26 more weekends. That is a real run, not a limited engagement. If it holds audiences at this price, expect it to extend.

Nine Strip Rooftops and the America 250 Fireworks Spectacular

The July 4, 2026 fireworks slate was the most geographically distributed in recent memory. Nine separate pyrotechnic displays went off across the valley on July 4 at 9pm, with two additional shows on July 3 at Cowabunga Canyon and Cowabunga Bay.

The headliner was the America 250 Fireworks Spectacular, a synchronized multi-resort display launching simultaneously from rooftops at nine Strip properties: Caesars Palace, Treasure Island, The Venetian, MGM Grand, Aria, Planet Hollywood, Resorts World Las Vegas, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and The STRAT. Simultaneous launches across that spread — from roughly STRAT at the north end down to MGM Grand at the south — is a different visual than any single-venue show. The Las Vegas Strip served as the spine of the whole spectacle.

Downtown, the Plaza Hotel and Casino held its annual rooftop display against the Fremont Street Experience light canopy. The combination of overhead fireworks and the LED canopy is a specific Downtown effect the Strip cannot replicate.

Station Casinos covered the suburban market from three locations simultaneously: Red Rock Resort in Summerlin, Durango, and Green Valley Ranch in Henderson, all launching at 9pm. For valley residents not trying to deal with Strip traffic on a holiday, that triple-site setup is the practical choice. Green Valley Ranch Resort is in Henderson about 15 miles from the Strip.

M Resort ran a choreographed fifteen-minute show at its pool area in Henderson. Lake Las Vegas offered free all-day activities at The Village — live music, a boat parade, then fireworks at 9pm. The lakeside setting makes that one genuinely different from any other display in the metro.

Cowabunga Canyon on South Fort Apache Road and Cowabunga Bay in Henderson both ran their "Red, White and Kaboom" shows on July 3 at 8:50pm. Starting the night before is smart positioning for a water park — the July 4 daytime crowds are at the pool, so the evening fireworks anchor the holiday experience to the park itself.

Summerlin Parade, Boulder City Damboree, and Henderson's Collin Raye Booking

Three of the non-Strip events are worth naming directly because they are not generic fireworks setups.

The Summerlin Patriotic Parade on July 4 at 10am ran more than 70 entries — over 20 giant inflatable balloons, patriotic and pop-culture floats, cultural performers, military organizations, and appearances by the Vegas Golden Knights and Las Vegas Raiders. That is Southern Nevada's largest Independence Day parade by entry count, and it drew tens of thousands into the Summerlin area before most people on the Strip had their first cup of coffee.

The Boulder City Damboree at Veterans Memorial Park is one of Nevada's longest-running Independence Day events. It started at 8am with a community pancake breakfast, ran through a veterans' flyover, a hometown parade, family games, a coin toss at the city pool, and closed with evening fireworks. Boulder City has no casino gambling, which gives the Damboree a specific character — genuinely old-fashioned in a way most Clark County July 4 events are not.

Henderson's Heritage Park hosted a free evening celebration headlined by country singer Collin Raye starting at 6pm. The lineup also included a Foam Frenzie, water blaster tag, patriotic putt-putt, and food vendors before a fireworks finale. Raye had multiple number-one country singles in the 1990s, which makes him a substantive booking for a free community event. Heritage Park in Henderson runs family programming year-round; the July 4 headliner is the biggest booking they do annually.
