Staying at The Flamingo is a great choice for those looking for an old-school Vegas experience. Though it’s not one of the most luxurious hotels on the Strip (and certainly not the classiest), it makes up for this with its unique history and retro charm.
Originally opened by Bugsy Siegel in 1946, this garishly pink establishment was (according to legend) inspired by Bugsy’s admiration of his girlfriend Virginia Hill’s long legs, hence the name – Flamingo!
What Room Should I Choose at the Flamingo?
Ensuring you choose the right room is essential for having the perfect stay! The Flamingo is home to a range of pretty pink rooms and suites.
Here are your options.
Rooms

Flamingo Rooms: The Flamingo rooms are both the smallest and cheapest this hotel offers, but they’re still decent, thanks to renovations. Boasting modern décor with magenta accents, sleek furnishings, and artwork featuring vintage Las Vegas and flamingos, they bring retro Vegas to the modern day. Amenities in this room include a 55-inch TV and a rain shower. They are available in a king-size bed or two queens.
GO Rooms: Equally as small as the Flamingo Rooms, the GO Rooms are a little more sleek, with modern furniture, light and classy decor, and tech-savvy accessories, including electronic window treatments, a 42-inch flat-screen TV, fine bath amenities, and a walk-in shower.
Flamingo Premium Room: Much like the Flamingo Rooms, these feature modern décor with magenta accents, sleek furnishings, and artwork featuring vintage Las Vegas and flamingos. The amenities in this room are an improvement on the standard Flamingo rooms and include a living area, one 55-inch and one 65-inch TV, a rain shower, and sophisticated bathroom fixtures. These are only available with a king-size bed.
Suites
GO Mini Suite: Decorated in a similar style to the GO Rooms mentioned before, these mini-suites are a great happy medium for those who want more than just a room but less than a whole suite. They feature an ultra-soft king pillow-top bed, an attached sitting room with a 42-inch flat-screen HDTV, a mini-fridge, and electronic window treatments. The bathrooms typically come with a walk-in shower, but suites with bathtubs are available.
Neapolitan Suites: Aptly named, thanks to their interior design reminiscent of classic Neapolitan ice cream, the Neapolitan Suites boast pops of cream, pink, and chocolate-colored, modern furnishings. Each suite boasts its own living area and great amenities, including electronic drapes, a coffee maker, a full bath with a multiple jetted shower fixture, and a separate half-bathroom. The main bathroom in this suite even includes marble countertops with double sinks.
Cosmopolitan Suites: Decorated in a similar style to the smaller Neapolitan suites, the Cosmopolitan Suites each include a living room, dining area, and stunning views of the High Roller over at the Linq! With hot pink accents and posh chandeliers, they boast a classy feel. These are available only with a king-size bed.

Flamingo Bunk Bed Suite: Featuring two Queen-sized beds with an overhead bunk, two large sofas, and multiple 55-inch TVs, it’s a great choice for those planning a getaway with friends or a fun bachelorette party! This suite includes two separate bathrooms with rain showers!
Fab Executive Suite: This spacious suite boasts a King-sized bed in its own separate bedroom, a combined living and dining area, a wet bar, a 55-inch flat-screen TV, and a mini-fridge.
Flamingo Executive Suite: Our most recommended suite on this list, the Flamingo Executive Suite, boasts a separate living room with a dining area, a wet bar, and luxurious seating. Amenities in this room include 55-inch and 65-inch TVs and a rain shower.
Forever Fab Suite: Not to be confused with the Fab Executive Suite, the Forever Fab Suite is a fun choice with a separate living room and dining area alongside a wet bar and even a game (foosball or a pool table, depending on which suite you get).
Metropolitan Suite: This two-bedroom suite is perfect for families or a small group of friends traveling together. It boasts three entertainment centers, a dining area, a sectional sofa, and multiple flat-screen TVs. The master bathroom even has a whirlpool tub.
