Which is the Cheapest Way to Visit Las Vegas?

Las Vegas has vibrant casinos and a dazzling entertainment scene. There’s so much to do here. It’s called the Mojave Desert Paradise for a reason. Just taking one trip to Vegas can never be enough.

Las Vegas is not an expensive trip, but the number of items you’ll tick off your bucket list in the Entertainment Capital of the World significantly depends on your budget. Today, I will give you six tips on the cheapest way to visit this city.

Tip 1: Travel during the off-season

If you want a cheap visit to Vegas, then it’s better to travel during the off-season. The city is busiest in the summer and during holidays. Therefore, consider traveling during the off-season to save on flight and hotel costs if you’re on a budget.

Tip 2: Stay off the Strip.

Although I think that the Strip is one of the most beautiful parts of Las Vegas, if you’re on a budget, I advise you to stay away. When people ask me about visiting Vegas on the cheap, I normally tell them to save some good money and come and see the city as it should be enjoyed. But I understand that it’s not always possible.

The hotels on Las Vegas Boulevard (the Strip) are, in many cases, more expensive than the ones located further away. So, if you want cheap travel to the city, you should consider staying off-Strip and taking an Uber to the attractions you want to visit.

Tip 3: Eat at buffets

Las Vegas is home to the best restaurants and chefs. Get to a buffet so you can experience a variety of food at one set price. Go to brunch or combine lunch and dinner for even more cost savings.

Tip 4: Take advantage of free attractions

Vegas is a city of attractions, and I recommend trying some of them even if you’re on a budget. But we also have free attractions that you don’t spend a dime to enjoy, like street performers, light displays, and the Bellagio fountain shows.

Tip 5: Visit during a promotion

There are many hotels in this city. Most of them occasionally offer promotions like discounted room rates and packages that include shows and meals. Therefore, if you’re on a budget and want a cheap Vegas visit, keep your eye open for such deals to save on your trip.

Tip 6: Plan ahead

Planning is always the best thing to do if you want to have a great Vegas visit. Book your hotel, flight, and activities in advance. Don’t be caught off-guard. You will save a lot of money if you only plan ahead. You can even use travel websites specializing in Las Vegas to find the best deals.

If you follow these tips I shared, you can have a budget-friendly trip to Las Vegas while enjoying all that the city offers.
