This new Las Vegas stadium will reportedly have 33,000 seats. That’s not what’s important, though. No one wants to see a team go 50-112, miss the playoffs, and trade every player they have. Fans already face enough torture watching the Raiders right now. The Athletics need a hook to catch fans’ attention.
Las Vegas Raiders have the second-worst attendance in the NFL
Rebuilding a franchise is hard work, and many fans get tired of waiting for promises of change. Take the Las Vegas Raiders, for example, who are coming off their second straight losing season and missed the playoffs by a pretty significant margin.
This has created a decline in Raiders fans at home games, leaving the organization 31st in attendance.
According to ESPN, the Raiders had around 559,713 fans in attendance during home games. For context, the Dallas Cowboys have the best fan attendance in the league, with a total of 748,755, plus an average of 93,594. That’s a ridiculous gap, which shows just how unpopular the Raiders are.
Fortunately for Las Vegas, they just signed Antino Pierce as permanent head coach, and that could go a long way in changing this organization.

The Las Vegas Golden Knights have one of the most loyal fanbases in the NHL, but they aren’t showing up anymore. Instead, the Golden Knights are 13th in fan attendance, with 180,96 fans attending home games. The good news is they are only a stone’s throw away from the top ten.
It’s difficult to blame the fans when Las Vegas continues to fall in the standings and lose great players. They currently are second in the Pacific Division but are in danger of dropping out of playoff contention. The only thing keeping them alive is their total points, and that’s continuing to dwindle.
Everyone wants the Golden Knights fans to show up, but give them something to show up for.

Everyone loves a championship team, which is why the Las Vegas Aces have the best attendance record in the WNBA. Las Vegas ended the season with an average of 9,551 fans per game on their way to a second straight title. This has made them the most dominant sports team in Las Vegas.
This team has all-stars like A’ja Wilson, Kelsey Plum, Jackie Young, and head coach Becky Hammon. People who are going to one day go into the WNBA Hall of Fame for these accomplishments.
