Get Scared in Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum

Visiting Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum should be on your bucket list when you come to Las Vegas. It’s one of the most unique attractions in the city because it offers collectibles, makeup, masks, and costumes, all dedicated to preserving the history of special effects makeup and its art. It showcases everything involved in the history of motion pictures, from custom monster pieces to makeup prosthetics and creature props. What actually first attracted me to Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum was the fact that I could see many of the Addams Family props. Tom Devlin brings a bit of Halloween here, regardless of the day of the year. You can also explore the history of makeup effects and get scared when you see some of the freakiest practical effects in film history. Despite its scary nature, this museum is actually family-friendly. Children over five get discounted admission, while those under 5 get in for free. It only takes half an hour to go through. It’s also accessible to persons with disabilities so everyone can enjoy it. If you love the museum, you can visit the store and purchase gifts, t-shirts, costumes, masks, and makeup effects kits. For a complete experience, I recommend you book the R.I.P. Experience Hearse Tour, which includes pickup and drop-off in a custom-made hearse. It’s a private tour given by Devlin himself. Location: Tom Devlin’s Monster Museum is located at 1310 Boulder City Pkwy, Boulder City, NV, 89005.
