Your talent can only go unappreciated for so long before you finally get the recognition you deserve, and it seems like Derek Carr is reaching that threshold. The veteran quarterback is already the leading passer in the league, which is only one of his many accomplishments so far this season. He currently stands with a 64.7 completion rating, 1203 passing yards, six touchdowns, two interceptions, and an overall QBR of 101.4 in the first three games of the season.
While Carr does have a long way to go before the MVP conversation even becomes clear, he is certainly making a case for himself to be in that discussion.
