The Sahara Las Vegas is a prestigious hotel that has stood the test of time. It opened its doors 70 years ago and has evolved to what it is now.

Evolution
The establishment first opened in the early 1950s and was the second hotel to open in the area. There was a constant change of management, with each new owner acquiring the property hopeful of its success. In 2011, the hotel was unfortunately shut down because of financial challenges.
Two years later, the owner modified it and relaunched it as SLS Las Vegas. A year down the line, the resort was sold once more. Around the same time, one of its towers was rebranded to W Las Vegas.
In 2018, a new owner purchased the property restoring the SLS brand. After a year, the management renovated the establishment, and this recent renovation finally bore what we know today, complete with the Sahara identity. The premises undergo frequent upgrades to ensure that everything is of high standards, excellent quality, and at par, if not better than its competitors.
