Where to Workout in Las Vegas 2023

Mention Las Vegas, and the thoughts of partying all year round come to mind. But did you know that Sin City has world-class gyms and fitness clubs to keep you in tip-top shape as you indulge in the fun and luxuries of the city? Here’s where to workout in Las Vegas to burn calories, tone your body, and keep fit:

Hotel Fitness Amenities – The STRAT Las Vegas

Fitness Center at Strat Hotel

If you’re staying on the Strip, we recommend booking your room at the STRAT Hotel, Casino & SkyPod. The hotel operates the Stratosphere Fitness Center open to all guests aged 16 years and above. The gym has all you need for cardio, flexibility, and strength training. This includes state-of-the-are stationary bikes and climbers, treadmills, a free weight station with kettlebells, TRX X-Mount, arm and leg machines, plyo boxes, and ropes.

The STRAT’s gym is particularly good, but you can find a workout room at most Strip hotels.

Fitness Experience Centers – Shine Alternative Fitness

Aerial Hoop at Shine Alternative Fitness

Are you into aerial yoga and pole dance training? If so, enroll for an introductory fitness class at Shine Alternative Fitness for as little as $10. Here, you’ll participate in aerial fitness and yoga, pole fitness, handstand, hula hoop, and flexibility exercises. Even though the fitness studio conducts its workouts in a group setting, each session strives to attain individual goals. And, if you are a fitness guru, sign up for personalized X-treme boxing, aerial silks, and aerial boot camps to push your body to its limit.

Locally Owned Workout Spots – Las Vegas Athletic Club

Las Vegas Athletic Club

There is no better way to experience the Las Vegas culture, people, and diversity than by immersing yourself in their way of life. And when it comes to fitness, Las Vegas has numerous locally-owned workout spots you can try.  For starters, buy a $20 day pass or a $50 weekly pass to the family-oriented Las Vegas Athletic Club and work out with locals at any of their seven fitness locations. A typical gym membership gives you access to all group fitness classes, indoor running tracks, women’s only weight training gyms, indoor pools, saunas, and spas, TEAM training, personal training, body fat testing, racquetball/handball courts, and cardio entertainment areas.

Notable nationwide fitness brands with branches in Las Vegas include Planet FitnessEOS FitnessAnytime FitnessLife Time Fitness24-Hour Fitness, and Orange Theory. Some of the fitness brands conduct their first classes for free, require no membership, and have their gym facilities open 24 hours.

Public Walkways and Walking Trails

Sunset Park

Las Vegas has numerous parks and walkways where you can walk and get some fresh air. Top on the list is the Las Vegas Strip stretching four miles from the STRAT in the north to Mandalay Bay in the south. Next, visit Sunset Park for a walk, golf, or tennis. And, if you prefer less crowded areas, the Rainbow Family Park presents you with a 26-acre open space with walking and jogging paths, a fitness court, and a picnic area.
