Famous Las Vegas Celebrity Weddings That Didn’t Have a Happily Ever After

Las Vegas is the ultimate spot to get married no matter who you are- but Las Vegas celebrity weddings are the most dramatic.

One of the high-profile weddings Vegas witnessed in 2022 was the wedding of Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck. Celebrities must deal with extravagant fanfare and many weeks and months immaculately planning a star-studded wedding. Las Vegas saves them from this great hustle by giving them a spontaneous, fun, and romantic wedding experience. They can even enjoy a private function away from the public and press.

Many celebrities like Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos Plas Dorothea Hurley and Jon Bon Jovi are still enjoying their happily ever after Las Vegas celebrity weddings. Unfortunately, not every celebrity wedding officiated in Las Vegas has managed to withstand the test of time. Some Las Vegas celebrity weddings turned out to be among the shortest weddings in the city’s history. Let’s look at the celebrities who didn’t get a Cinderella ending after getting hitched in Las Vegas.

According to Alexander, the annulment of their marriage was facilitated by Britney’s team, which included her parents and lawyers. Alexander and Britney were childhood friends, and their impromptu prenuptial happened on January 3, 2004. The bride didn’t even have a wedding gown. Britney was wearing a pair of jeans and a baseball cap.

Unfortunately, Alexander became a jilted lover and tried to crash Britney’s wedding to Sam Asghari on June 9, 2022. He was later booked for three misdemeanors, with a $22,500 bail. After the wedding incident, Britney and her husband were granted a three-year restraining order against Alexander. He also faced a felony stalking charge with a $100,000 bail.

Erika Koike was a makeup artist when she wedded Nicholas Cage in March 2019. The wedding lasted four days before Cage requested an annulment. According to the newlywed Cage, Koike had lied to him about her legal troubles. Even though Cage requested an annulment of his drunken nuptials to his girlfriend Erika after four days, he wasn’t granted a divorce until after three months.

Cage said that he was drunk during the wedding and couldn’t understand his actions or be responsible for them. He also stated he was unaware that Koike was in a relationship with another person. Notable guests who graced the ceremony were magician Hans Klok, Tobey Maguire, and Lukas Haas.

After getting married, Anderson quickly went back to work. Well, maybe if she had taken some time off and even gone for a honeymoon, the wedding would have lasted more than two months. The couple separated on December 13, 2007. Unlike Britney and Alexander’s love story, Anderson and Salomon had an exciting story. Close to seven years later, the couple remarried on January 2014. Unfortunately, the dark cloud in their marriage was still present, and in another episode of bad luck, the couple divorced in less than one year. The second divorce was confirmed on March 2015, denying the couple a well-longed happily ever after.

They ask for consideration and respect for their family moving forward.”

Milian and The Dream got married in 2009 in Sin City. Disappointingly The Dream filed for divorce five months later when Milian was pregnant with their daughter Violet Madison Nash. On November 14, 1998, Dennis Rodman, a former NBA player, tied the knot with Carmen Electra, an actress. The wedding occurred in Las Vegas after the couple had dated for only a few months. It was love at first sight when Rodman met Electra at a club in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately, like the Jason Alexander and Nicholas Cage Vegas weddings, Rodman ended the marriage sooner than many expected. Nine days after tying the knot, Rodman requested an annulment of their marriage. According to the former NBA player, he was not of sound mind when he got married to Elektra.

Surprisingly, the married couple opted to stay together for a few more months. They reached a mutual decision to have a divorce and were officially separated on April 1999, close to six months after their Sin City wedding. Many people and Electra’s fans speculate that the wedding might have been strained because the actress was dealing with the loss of her mother and sister. The tragedy had happened a few weeks before she started dating Rodman. Electra, a popular media personality and model, doesn’t hold any grudges against her ex-husband Rodman nor has any negative feelings about the marriage. Electra and Rodman have had a series of unsuccessful relationships and remain single, focusing on different vital aspects of their lives.

Sadly their marriage lasted only six months, and the couple divorced the same year. But it wasn’t the end of their love story. More than ten years later, the couple reconciled and remarried in 1989. The second marriage was almost a happily ever after, and the couple were even blessed with a beautiful daughter Dakota Johnson, who turned out to be a successful actress. Even though the second wedding took place in Aspen, graced by children from their past marriages, the marriage didn’t last. Five years later, the couple filed for divorce, citing irreconcilable differences. While marriage might not have worked for the two, they have maintained a strong friendship over the years.

Sinatra was already an established legend in the American entertainment scene, but Farrow was just starting her career. According to Sinatra, when he saw Farrow, he immediately knew his heart belonged to her.

The couple tied the knot in June 1966 and had a brief reception at the Sands Hotel. Despite the thirty-year-old gap, the couple stayed together for two years. The different understanding of marriage caused their divorce according to the couple. Sinatra believed in having a housewife who stayed home and looked after the children. Farrow, on the other hand, was a career-driven woman ready to pursue her acting career to the fullest.

Sinatra demanded that Farrow stop acting. When Farrow refused, the legendary singer handed divorce pares to Farrow when she was shooting the Rosemary’s Baby scenes in November 1967. Kim Kardashian & Damon Thomas

Famous Las Vegas Celebrity Weddings That Didn’t Have a Happily Ever After

Kim Kardashian has seen a fair share of celebrity weddings. Her latest failed marriage to Kanye West gained much publicity in the entrainment scene.

Kim Kardashian also had the dream Vegas wedding. The then 19-year-old actress eloped with her 29-year-old lover Damon Thomas, a music producer, and got married in Las Vegas.

According to Kim, she was under the influence when she married Damon. It was a night of bad decisions for the young Kim. After getting married to Damon, she took more ecstasy that same night and made a sex tape. However, Damon has a different version of their wedding day and night and states he doesn’t recall his bride being under the influence of any substance.

When filing for divorce, Kim complained that Damon was too controlling and possessive of his wife. He would dictate how his wife would do everything and where they would go. He forced his wife to quit college studies and barred her from seeking employment. Kim also complained that Damon was violent towards her and even cited several instances when her husband was extremely violent to her.

On the other hand, Damon filed for divorce, claiming Kim was cheating on him. He also denied being violent to his wife. Instead, he stated that his wife was obsessed with being famous. Their marriage ended in 2004. Kim Kardashian has been married and divorced two more times, to Kanye West and Kris Humphries. Damon is a successful music producer with his record label and has worked with big names like Beyoncé, Justin Bieber, and Justin Timberlake. Despite all the fame and money, he keeps a very low profile, unlike his ex-wife Kim Kardashian, which clearly indicates the two weren’t a good match.
