The Bedford by Martha Stewart
The Bedford by Martha Stewart, her first restaurant, is inspired by her New York farmhouse with a menu of seafood, steak, and fresh farm-to-table ingredients.
The restaurant models Stewart's 1925 historic New York home; it includes a replica of her dining room. The dining area is light and airy with white accents, marble, wood, and greenery. The design transports you to her country farmhouse, where you're her guest for the evening.
The Menu
The menu features some of Stewart's favorite recipes and French cuisine made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients. Options of seafood, salads, pastas, and steak blend coastal American cooking with French influence.
Appetizers include Steak Tartare, Buckwheat Crepes with crème fraîche, Oysters Rockefeller, and Ricotta Stuffed Zucchini Blossoms, plus a variety of soups and salads.
For entrées, choose between options like Big Martha’s Pierogis, Short Rib Ragu, Salmon en Croûte, Whole Roast Chicken, Couscous Royale with roasted lamb chop, plus multiple steaks.
Side dishes like Martha's Smashed Baked Potato, which you can top with Golden Osetra caviar, crème fraîche, and chives, seared shishito peppers, and matchstick fries pair well with any dish.
Of course, delicious drinks are on offer too.
Specialty cocktails include the Martha-tini, Classic Martha-rita, Martha's Perfect Manhattan, Old Fashioned, Bourbon Sour, Salty Dog, and Sour Cherry Mojito.
