5 Epic Vegas Golf Courses for Your Bachelor Party

Bachelor party golf is a much different animal than just going out with your buddies on a regular Saturday. You want something special but also have to factor in everyone’s different skill levels.

Some guys will want to play a quality course, while others will only be concerned with the beer cart girl. Las Vegas is the only city that can cater to all these bachelors, so here are the top golf courses for your bachelor party.

#5 Legacy Golf Club – Best for True Golfers

Dist from Strip: 12 miles

Difficulty: ▮▮▮▯▯

Stuffiness: ▮▮▮▮▯

Price: ▮▮▮▮▯

Located in Henderson, Legacy Golf Club is meant for a golf-centric bachelor party. The course is designed by the renowned Arthur Hills and has a challenging layout.

The highlight of your round will start on the 10th, where each tee box is shaped like a different card suit. There’s a heart, diamond, spade, and club. After that, you’ll enter the devil’s triangle. Holes 11, 12, and 13 is a tough stretch that will make or break your round.

In terms of pricing, Legacy is quite reasonable. It’s a bit above average, but the course is also a bit above average. True golf fans will see the value in paying for this course.

Legacy Golf Club is ideal for bachelor parties that enjoy an authentic golf experience while still keeping things competitive on the course. This place is perfect if your group appreciates nature, a bit of golf strategy, and the proximity to the Strip for post-golf activities.

#4 Desert Pines – Best for Betting Games

Dist from Strip: 9 miles

Difficulty: ▮▮▮▯▯

Stuffiness: ▮▮▯▯▯

Price: ▮▮▮▯▯

Here is the first of two Pete Dye recommendations. Dye is known for his challenging layouts. The course is beautifully designed, with pine trees lining the fairways, making it scenic and challenging. It’s the kind of course that balances fun with a test of skill, perfect for mixed-ability groups.

The fun begins on the par 5 third hole that rewards the bold. If you take on the water here, you could ignite a low-scoring front nine. You’ll still have to get past the tricky eighth and ninth holes before getting some relief at the start of the back nine. But then it’s back to work from the 15th until the end.

If your group is into quality golf but also wants to keep a competitive edge, this spot hits the mark. “Dye”-hard golfers may want to play 36 here, and it makes a great venue for team play.

#3 Las Vegas National –  Best for Vegas Lovers

Dist from Strip: 4 miles

Difficulty: ▮▮▯▯▯

Stuffiness: ▮▮▮▯▯

Price: ▮▮▯▯▯

Website: http://lasvegasnational.com/

For the Vegas historians, this course should be on your schedule. Las Vegas National is steeped in classic Vegas charm, offering a course filled with history and character. This is the same course where Tiger Woods won his first PGA tournament in 1996, and it’s even featured in the film “Casino.” The course layout is traditional yet challenging, with mature palm trees and carefully placed water hazards.

A standout hole to look out for is the home hole 18th, a par-5 with a dogleg that requires both guts and skill. Before that, you’ll have to navigate the five par 3s, which make this course another great option for competitive bachelors who like to place a few wagers throughout the day.

Price-wise, Las Vegas National is very accessible, and it’s just a stone’s throw from the Strip. No course is closer, which makes it super convenient to squeeze in a round of golf without straying far from your base of other Vegas shenanigans.

#2 Angel Park – Best for Recreational Golfers

Dist from Strip: 12 miles

Difficulty: ▮▮▯▯▯

Stuffiness: ▮▮▯▯▯

Price: ▮▮▮▮▯

Website: https://angelpark.com/

The best part about Angel Park is they have two 18-hole courses, Palm and Mountain, but the real fun is with their lit par-3 course. After your regular round, take a break and have some drinks and food while you enjoy the sunset. Once it’s dark, go tee it up again under the lights on the par 3 course with holes inspired by other famous holes, such as the island green at TPC Sawgrass.

After your night nine, you can keep the fun going on their real-grass mini-putt course. Angel Park makes it easy for bachelor parties that want to partake in a bit of friendly betting.

The big courses should not be overlooked, though. The Mountain Course is celebrated for its elevation changes and spectacular views of the Red Rock Canyon, while the Palm Course is a bit more forgiving, with wider fairways and lush landscapes.

When it comes to pricing, Angel Park is affordable, given its quality and proximity to the heart of Las Vegas; however, that’s not to say it’s cheap. This venue is ideal for bachelor parties looking to mix leisure with excitement. If your group is a blend of serious golfers and casual players, Angel Park provides enough variety to suit everyone.

#1 Paiute – Best Overall

Dist from Strip: 27 miles

Difficulty: ▮▮▮▮▯

Stuffiness: ▮▮▮▯▯

Price: ▮▮▮▮▯

Website: http://www.lvpaiutegolf.com/

True golfers in your group will probably already know about these three Pete Dye-designed courses: Snow Mountain, Sun Mountain, and The Wolf. Each one has its own set of challenges and lives up to the diabolical reputation Pete Dye has in the golf course design world.

Snow Mountain is known for its strategic water hazards. Hole 16 here stands out as a par 3 over water that’s as challenging as it is picturesque. However, The Wolf has a true island green as its 15th hole, and Sun Mountain (the easiest of the three) closes with an epic par 4 around water.

The quality of the courses is top-notch and maintained meticulously. You’ll find the greens testing but fair, and the surroundings provide a calming escape from the typical Vegas hustle.

Green fees vary by season but are on par for the caliber of golf offered. Bachelor parties that fit the laid-back golf vibe will find Paiute irresistible. If your group savors moments of camaraderie over intense competition, this is your spot.
