With so much economic uncertainty and turmoil, charitable organizations are facing serious challenges. VEGAS 411 proudly supports community services for children, families, and animals, so we’re spreading the word on another wonderful event:
WHISKEY FOR THE WHISKERED, a benefit for Community Cat Angels.
“I am holding a whiskey dinner fundraiser on May 29th at Ri Rá Irish Pub (Shoppes at Mandalay Place) for a cat rescue I volunteer for. After the dinner and tasting, we’ll have an auction of rare whiskies, many of which are from my personal collection.” – Wally Lang, Community Cat Angels
COMMUNITY CAT ANGELS is a nonprofit organization that rescues abandoned and neglected community cats. They specialize in providing rehabilitation, health care, and love. Community cats are susceptible to harsh weather conditions, predators, infections, and diseases that can result in a painful existence.
CCA‘s sole focus is to address the growing crisis of Las Vegas’ feral and stray cat populations. It’s comprised solely of volunteers. They receive no government funding and rely on the generosity of volunteers and donors to support their programs. Plus, they hold special events like the upcoming WHISKEY FOR THE WHISKERED dinner.
