Spiegelworld’s DISCOSHOW – A Capsule Review

Spiegelworld’s 360-degree production is the dance party of your life…

The latest production by Spiegelworld (ABSINTHE, ATOMIC SALOON SHOW) is located at The Linq Hotel. An adults-only musical experience, it opened in August and performs Wednesday through Sunday at 7 pm and 9:30 pm. For our full-length VEGAS 411 review, head here.

What is DiscoShow? The premise of DiscoShow is simple. You are a patron entering a Times Square dance club at the height of the disco era. You’re surrounded by “everyday” characters drawn to the magic. An instructor briefs you on the “latest” moves, allowing you to experience a hedonistic evening of the seventiesas if you’ve traveled back in time.

Who would enjoy DiscoShow? Anyone who enjoys a dance environment is bound to love DiscoShow. There’s a minimal plotline to focus on. Instead, you’re urged to “dance like nobody’s watching.”  So dust off your mylar boots and get on the floor.

Who can attend DiscoShow?

As it recreates an adult nightclub environment, DiscoShow is limited to those 21 and over. You should be in good health and able to stand for over an hour, as seating is not provided. Alcohol and other drinks are permitted in the showroom, but only in sealed containers with straws.

Is there sexual/objectional material/nudity?

There is no nudity or overtly sexual situations. There is some naughty humor, innuendo, and a same-sex kiss.

Does DiscoShow have pre-performance entertainment?

Yes. You can arrive early, enjoy music from a vinyl-playing deejay, and mingle with rollerskating DiscoShow characters.

Are costumes encouraged?

Absolutely. From platform shoes to afro wigs, shimmery shirts to white leisure suits, almost anything goes.

I’ve already attended DiscoShow and enjoyed it. Should I return?

Absolutely. Spiegelworld is known for constantly adding new elements, technical wizardry, and characters. It’s unlikely that you’ll experience the same evening twice.

What are the ticket prices for DiscoShow?

General admission currently starts at $99 plus taxes/fees. Third-party ticketing sites like TicketKite and Spotlight.Vegas specialize in deals, so check around. The official DiscoShow page at Spiegelworld may have limited-time offers, too.

Are there other disco-themed shows in Las Vegas?

Yes! We recommend FLASHBACK: Tina Turner and Friends. It’s a song-and-dance extravaganza featuring the “Disco Divas”. Live vocals celebrate the music of Tina, Gloria Gaynor, Diana Ross, Olivia Newton-John, Donna Summer and more. Read the VEGAS 411 review here, and get ticketing information here.
