The year’s biggest outdoor charitable event is back! AFAN’s annual AIDS WALK LAS VEGAS will take place on Sunday, May 7th, and it’s sure to be even more exciting and successful than in previous years. Thousands will gather in Sunset Park for the 8 am kickoff, then stick around for fun and entertainment into the afternoon.

Marco and Joanna from the Sunny 106.5 Morning Radio Show will introduce an exciting line-up of pre-walk performers. They include Vegas! The Show, GLAM (the monthly rooftop party at Ghostbar), Norma Llyaman and the Vegas Theatre Company, Chadwick Johnson, Chippendales, Piranha Nightclub, and the Las Vegas Kaminari Taiko Drummers. Proceeds from the event benefit Southern Nevadans living with or affected by HIV/AIDS.

“This year’s AIDS Walk comes at a time when similar community events and performers in other states are being targeted and restricted,” said Antioco Carrillo, AFAN’s executive director. “It’s more important than ever to keep our local traditions and celebrations alive to show our support for our clients and the LGBTQ+ community.  We invite walkers of all ages and backgrounds to join us for a morning of fun, pride, and love.”
