Musical extravaganza features performers from major shows…doing their own thing…
Get a group of talented friends together, set them loose, and the results are almost always spectacular. That’s exactly what happened in March of 2024 when GLITZ – THE SHOWKIDS SHOW debuted at Gipsy Nightclub. Glitz – The Showkids Show was born to highlight the stars behind the stars: the dancers, singers, musicians, wardrobe, and crew – aka “The Showkids.”
A huge success in its debut, GLITZ moved three months later to the Virgin Hotel’s 24 Oxford for a well-received encore. VEGAS 411 was there and captured these terrific moments:
This weekend, the next edition of GLITZ returns to Gipsy, where it all began. This iteration is entitled “Heart, Body, & Soul”, and here’s why:
Every time Glitz is played, it is revamped into a different theme. So if you think you have already seen Glitz, you are wonderfully mistaken. And now Glitz has been revamped once again to touch on three elements of every human experience: The Heart, the Body, and the Spirit.
Three separate segments will be devoted to those elements. Each will be led by one of its stars…Cierra Bliss, Estevan Velasco, and Ferly Prado. They’ll be joined by returning favorites like Adam Moss, Shane David, Sarah Johsnton, and Yaya Marino. Twenty-six of dance instructor Ferly Prado’s “pradogies” will round out the extremely talented…and attractive…cast.
Another returning favorite is drag legend Larry Edwards, known professionally as “Hot Chocolate”. The Tina Turner tribute artist turned 70 this year and is still going strong. You can see Edwards every weekend at Voss Events Drag Brunch and Piranha Nightclub.
From rising stars to fierce favorites, this is their moment to shine—their way. Expect polished performances, bold looks, and unfiltered talent dripping in gold and glitter. It’s a celebration of raw energy, future legends, and the pure love of the performing arts.
GLITZ – The Showkids Show will perform Saturday, June 21st, beginning at 10 pm. Tickets start at $30.00 and can be ordered here. Nevada residents receive a discount with a valid ID. The event is limited to those age 21 and over.
