Ahern Live Showroom and OYO Hotel do the Autumn Show Shuffle…
In a case of “blink and you’ll miss it”, the Neil Diamond tribute show KING OF DIAMONDS has moved for the second time this year. This writer was first alerted to the situation by tribute artist Rob Garrett. In a social media post that appears to have since been deleted, Garrett alluded to dissatisfaction with the Ahern Live Showroom. The source of his frustration was what he considered to be an inferior sound system.
KING OF DIAMONDS originally debuted at Modern Showrooms at Alexis Park, where it performed for over a year. A splashy move to Ahern Hotel‘s showroom on May 19th had the crowd on its feet. Fans seemed to appreciate the ample free parking, meticulously kept surroundings, and dining choices like OTTIMO Gourmet Kitchen and Joel’s Chophouse.
Alas, Sweet Caroline’s time at the Ahern Hotel was short-lived, and the Neil Diamond tribute moved to the OYO Hotel Casino on October 20th. Rob Garrett was back to crowing with this October 12th announcement:

But back to Ahern Live. The boutique hotel’s showroom currently showcases A-Stars Comedy, Karaoke Night, Motown Brunch, and a brand new Beatles tribute entitled LOVE IS ALL YOU NEED.
