AGT Winners Head to Vegas for Surprise Engagement

Paul Zerdin and Jonathan Burns descend on Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club for three nights of unbridled insanity…

Jonathan Burns, “Sam”, and Paul Zerdin play Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club this weekend…

For fans disappointed by the closure of Paul Zerdin‘s superlative MOUTHING OFF in 2016, there is great news. Zerdin is back this weekend! Alas, the comic ventriloquist is currently scheduled for only three Vegas performances. More dates are likely to follow, but don’t take any chances. Get your tickets now.

Paul Zerdin won Season Ten of America’s Got Talent, along with a $1 million prize. The handsome entertainer also earned a Planet Hollywood residency in what is now the “Criss Angel Theater”. Unfortunately, fellow puppet man Terry Fator (our 2021 choice for “Loser Of The Year”) was a hot ticket at the time, and MOUTHING OFF folded after four months. Zerdin had the far superior show and deserved a much better response.

After more than eight years, Paul Zerdin returns to the Strip, but this time, he and his puppets won’t be alone. Fellow AGT winner Jonathan Burns will be their special guest, and together, Burns and Zerdin have created an entirely new comedy experience.

Jonathan Burns climbed to the top spot in Season Fourteen of the TV competition program. His knack for shocking contortion, physical comedy, and silly magic garnered accolades from grumpy Simon Cowell and Penn & Teller. He’s been named “Variety Artist of the Year” by the New York Times on three occasions.

The two comedians developed a rapport while working together in Europe last year and decided to bring their chemistry to the States. “It’s a very weird combination that works really well”, says Zerdin. Burns agrees and promises lots of audience interaction. The only thing the two can’t agree on is a name for the show. “Bend Over and Shut Your Mouth” was apparently considered for a brief while. Suitably “Vegas”, wouldn’t you say?

Paul Zerdin and Jonathan Burns perform March 27th, 28th, and 29th at Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club at 6 pm. The venue is located along Linq Promenade across from Brooklyn Bowl. Tickets start at $34.99 (plus taxes/fees) and can be reserved here. Age restrictions aren’t specified – parents should exercise discretion, as with any comedy material.
