One little boy about to get the shock of his short life is eight-year-old Davin. Whisked into Hell by mistake, the little fella will not only miss Santa’s trip down the chimney but will also burn in Satan’s fire. CHRISTMAS IN HELL is a twisted musical odyssey now playing at NOTORIETY in downtown Las Vegas. It performs Thursday through Sunday at 7 pm, now through January 15th. FAAABULOUS! is the only show of its kind in Las Vegas in which the singing is live. Drag performers typically lip-synch to original recordings by popular artists. And there’s a double helping of beefy reindeer in every performance.
Another noteworthy addition to the NOTORIETY roster is a December 5th performance of the adults-only TINSEL. This one’s described as absolute holiday havoc:

Across town on East Harmon Avenue, The MODERN SHOWROOMS OF ALEXIS PARK offer what is undoubtedly the most impressive display of Christmas transformations. No less than five full-length resident shows have undergone a seasonal refit, bringing the best songs, sights, and retro-cool memories alive. Dubbed “The Holiday Classics”, this collection runs the gamut from kid-friendly guffaws to jaw-dropping titillation.
For children of the sixties and seventies, the Christmas songs of The Carpenters were as important as the annual Charlie Brown Christmas Special broadcast. The sheer beauty of Karen’s voice and Richard’s melodies have withstood the test of time, and many of us still play our original vinyl copies of these albums every year.
Las Vegas is fortunate enough to have THE CARPENTERS LEGACY, a residency that faithfully recreates the shows of this iconic brother-sister duo. This year’s A CHRISTMAS PORTRAIT is their gift to fans.
