If you’ve been to the Strip, you’ve probably seen a huge dark red bus cruising up and down Las Vegas Boulevard. This is known as the Las Vegas Big Bus.
The Las Vegas Big Bus Tour is an affordable and underrated way to experience the Strip. This open-air double-decker bus cruises past Las Vegas’ famous casinos day and night, so you can see all of the sites, and it makes stops along the way. It’s an economical and easy form of transportation. You can ride it just for a few hours or purchase a multiple-day pass.
There are two main routes that the Big Bus takes: The Day Tour (Red Route) and The Night Tour (Green Route).
The Day Tour bus starts running at 10 am and continues until 5:20 pm daily. The first stop is at The American Eagle Store on the Strip. It continues on to the High Roller at the Linq Promenade, then towards downtown to the Arts District, the Mob Museum, and The Strat. Then the bus makes its way back down the Strip, stopping at Treasure Island, The Excalibur, and the “Welcome To Fabulous Las Vegas” Sign. This entire tour would take about two hours.
The Night Tour is for adults only. This bus takes off from Circa Resort & Casino in downtown Las Vegas. This includes a complimentary beverage from the bar before and after the ride. You’ll ride up and down the Strip, looping back downtown to Circa. This tour starts at 8 pm and is about two hours long.
There are several types of bus passes available.
- The Classic Ticket is a 1-day hop-on, hop-off daytime ticket that costs $48 for adults and $39 for kids.
- The Premium Ticket is a 2-day hop-on, hop-off ticket that includes access to the Night Tour. This costs $66 for adults and $57 for kids.
- The Deluxe Ticket is a 3-day hop-on, hop-off pass that also includes the Night Tour, and a daytime ticket to the High Roller.
The Night Tour tickets are only $50 on their own.
