Can you navigate Las Vegas using public transportation? The short answer is yes.
However, you may want to consider other options as well, especially if you’re in a hurry or plan to go beyond the Strip area. Here, we break down Las Vegas transportation options.
The Regional Transportation Commission (RTC) of Southern Nevada

The South Nevada RTC manages the buses that use the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown routes. These buses are among the most convenient and affordable means of traveling in Las Vegas. They are designed to offer maximum comfort to differently-abled passengers.
Tourists who want to travel from the Las Vegas Strip to Downtown should use the SDX, commonly called the Downtown Express by the locals. The Deuce is also essential since it operates on the Las Vegas Boulevard route, offering easy access to the Strip.
The RTC of Southern Nevada has 400 vehicles operating on 39 routes in Las Vegas. Passengers can find more information about the route schedules from RTC Las Vegas’s official website. You can purchase tickets online, with students and veterans enjoying discounted rates. The rideRTC app offers a simplified way of purchasing passes for the RTC.
