7 Shocking Ghost Tours to Take in Vegas in 2025

What dies in Vegas stays in Vegas . . . at least according to these seven tours of Sin-ister City. Not everyone believes in ghosts, of course, but belief is not required for ghost tours. Though that may sound paradoxical, eerie vibes, notorious architecture, organized crime history, and Hollywood horror lore transcend paranormal proselytizing, making the following jaunts suitable for any able-bodied adult (and in some cases, child) interested in offbeat Vegas. If that’s you, which tour will you take in 2025?

Haunted Vegas Ghost Hunt Tour

Cost: $124.95

When: Wed, Fri – Sat, 8pm (changes seasonally)

Wait at Tuscany Suites and Casino to be shuttled to Vegas’ spookiest sites via the Haunted Vegas Ghost Hunt Tour. As its name suggests, this tour is also a hunt, which means that guests are equipped with paranormal detectors (that might point to themselves). Though start times vary by season, tours last roughly 150 minutes. You must be 18 or over to join.

Downtown Las Vegas: Glitter Gulch, Ghosts and Gangsters Tour

Cost: $9.99

When: 24/7 (no guide; tour is audio only)

A rare audio-based excursion, the Downtown Las Vegas: Glitter Gulch, Ghosts and Gangsters Tour lets you survey Sin City solo and as slowly as you like. From the VoiceMap app, an audio file guides you down Fremont via GPS while recommending and describing notorious buildings. First stop and summary is the El Cortez Hotel, with its alleged ghostly clientele ranging from former owner Jackie Gaughan to Bugsy Siegel’s henchman Fat Irish Green. The tour averages 30 minutes, but, as we said before, you can dally or hurry as desired.

Ghosts of Las Vegas Tour

Cost: $24.99

When: Daily, 7:30pm

You might not think of ghost tours as fun for the whole family, but the Ghosts of Las Vegas Tour is “entertaining for anyone ages 5-100”. Operated by Ghost City Tours, which also runs the next excursion, this family-friendly fright-fest occurs nightly at 7:30 PM near the Mob Museum. Regardless of age, participants should be able to walk to various “haunted” locales for about an hour and a half. The same goes for pets, which are permitted on the tour. Perhaps surprisingly, so is alcohol.

Shadows of Sin City Ghost Tour

Cost: $34.99

When: Daily, 9pm

Billed as Vegas’s only adult-only ghost tour, this is the R-rated counterpart to the G-rated Ghosts of Las Vegas Tour. Technically you can be 16 to explore the “Shadows of Sin City,” which are cast by undead mobsters. The walking tour begins outside the Mob Museum and runs nightly at 9 PM. Expect mature themes, language, and beverages for 90-some minutes.

Vegas Ghosts: Gangsters, Glitz, and Gore Ghost Tour

Cost: $26

When: Daily, 8pm

Rain or shine from 8 to 9, the Strip strips to its creepy core for the Vegas Ghosts: Gangsters, Glitz, and Gore Ghost Tour. Starting at the northeast corner of the Fashion Show mall, this tour takes pedestrians into the darkest corners of downtown Vegas, illuminating such spots as the Horseshoe Casino, which is supposedly haunted by the victims of a 1980 fire, and Planet Hollywood, whose seventh floor has long spooked staff and guests. For seven dollars and 30 minutes more, tourists can brave four additional haunts as part of a Bonus Extended Tour. Other add-ons are a rented paranormal activity detector and a take-home ghost plush toy.

Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum RIP All-Access Tour

Cost: $56 general admission, $86 RIP all-access

When: Every day but Tuesday, 10am – 7pm

Owned by the titular TV ghost hunter, Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum is the holy grail of Vegas haunts. Bagans turned an infamous mansion into his personally curated museum of bone-chilling artifacts. They include a cauldron allegedly used by serial killer Ed Gein and the “Devil’s Rocking Chair” linked to the real-life Conjuring story. Self-guided tours are offered through general admission, but access to specialty items and areas are offered through the RIP All-Access Tour. After entering those “off-limit” rooms, you might be bagan’ to leave.

Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum Late Night Flashlight Ghost Tour Experience

Cost: $204

When: Fri – Sat, 10pm

Another of Bagans’ cursed offerings is the Late Night Flashlight Ghost Tour Experience. At 10 PM on Fridays and Saturdays, guests get free rein of the aforementioned Haunted Museum, AKA USA Today’s #1 Best Haunted Destination. This tour is not for the faint of heart, since the 11,000-square-foot property is totally darkened and guests are armed with a simple flashlight. They can also wield electromagnetic equipment of the kind used by Bagans during his famous ghost hunts. The tour lasts 90 minutes and is limited to 20 people that are at least 14 years old. Each engraved flashlight becomes a complimentary souvenir.
