On January 15th, the Las Vegas Raiders played their final game of the season…and lost. Nonplussed, defensive end Carl Nassib gathered some teammates and headed to Piranha Nightclub to enjoy a celebration on the dance floor. He also inadvertently kicked off Vegas Party Season, which is finally back after two industry-crushing years. Sin City has been in full “party mode” ever since.
If you follow the official Vegas 411 Facebook page, then you know we’ve been burning the candle at both ends…and sometimes in the middle…to bring you as many festivities and events as humanly possible. Even with our best platform shoes and Bruno Magli wingtips, it’s impossible to cover everything. But here are some highlights from just the last few weeks…..

Gas station-themed watering hole The Garage at 1437 East Flamingo held a “Furries Party” on March 19th. This writer doesn’t know exactly what that is, but apparently, it’s a thing. Bartenders and support staff were decked out in ears and tails, while life-sized critters strolled around the venue, posing for photos and even sitting down for pizza and beer. Oh……kay!!!!!

Enigma-steeped digital marketing expert Mark Messina used his birthday as a springboard for a massive networking gala. It took place at Industrial Event Space, a multi-purpose venue in the super-popular Arts District. The venue boasts indoor and outdoor facilities, a stage, bars, VIP rooms, and ample parking.
Guests walked the red carpet for photos by Gabe Ginsberg and Ira Kuzma before enjoying cocktails and live music from the likes of Serena Henry and Christine Shebeck. 90s hitmaker Taylor Dayne was rumored to be lurking in the shadows. Messina eventually took to the stage to answer the all-important question “What the Hell does Mark Messina do for a living?”, His lengthy answer left everyone in stitches…yet still puzzled about his actual profession.
Many of the guests, including John Shaw and Tape Face, then headed to nearby Star Lounge for a musical showcase hosted by Chippendales star Jayson Michael. Messina took to the stage and belted out a few impressive numbers, once again confusing guests as to who he actually is.
