The Smith Center Returns, Brings Culture to Las Vegas

The Smith Center is raising the curtain for the first time in over a year.

The Smith Center for the Performing Arts is reopening its doors after being closed for more than a year. On September 14, live music will resume and starting on October 12, their Broadway series will begin. 

Visitors will be able to attend live concerts featuring local singer Frankie Moreno, Grammy-nominated Clint Holmes, Spectrum & Radiance, Lon Bronson, Hawaii s Kul?iwi, America s Got Talent winner Landau Eugene Murphy Jr., and others at Myron s Cabaret Jazz starting on September 14. In Reynolds Hall, the Broadway Musical series will kick off on October 12 with Cats. This musical will run until October 17. Next, An Officer And A Gentleman will run from October 26 to the 31. A comedy, The Play That Goes Wrong starts on November 9 and runs through the 14. To celebrate the holiday season, A Christmas Carol will begin on November 23 and end on the 28. The series resumes in the new year with My Fair Lady debuting on January 25 and running through the 30. From February 15 to the 20 The Band s Visit will be on and Tootsie will close out the series from May 24 to the 29.

These shows generally start at 7:30 pm, and some of these musicals offer matinee showings. Tickets start at just $30.
