The Bellagio is famous for its elaborate displays inside of the hotel lobby’s conservatory and botanical garden. A new display debuts each season. For summertime, it has transformed into a tropical oasis with a safari full of lions, flamingos, zebras, giraffes, exotic birds, and more wild animals. The centerpiece is the lion, the king of the jungle, standing tall with his cub by his side.
The intricate display features thousands of real flowers and plants, which make it vibrant and lush. This atrium is 14,000 square feet with a 50-foot tall ceiling, and none of the space is wasted. Decorative structures, ponds, waterfalls, and fountains add to the ambiance too. All of these elements come together to create an incredible garden.
The horticulture staff designs these works of art by replanting and repurposing materials, so it’s sustainable and never wasteful.
This summer display debuted on May 23 and will stay up until September 10. It’s free for the public to visit and enjoy daily. The atrium is located inside The Bellagio’s lobby past the front desk.
