Syndicate MMA and ProAm Sports Medicine Team Up For New Vegas Location

Extensive facility offers training, medical treatment, physical therapy, and performance development.

The world of organized sports is quickly replacing live entertainment as the hottest ticket in town. From sports betting, the LV Raiders and Golden Knights to UFC competitions and boxing matches, if it involves sports, it has a home in Sin City. Now ProAm Sports Medicine has partnered with Syndicate MMA Gym to form a next-generation complex for training, medical treatment, physical therapy, performance development, and more. Athletes, rejoice!

ProAm, also known as “Athlete Advantage Medical”, is proudly headquartered in Las Vegas and works with medical professionals, athletes of all levels, sports organizations, and managers across the nation, providing everything from physical exams and labs to EKGs. ProAm also operates as an outsourced medical coordinator by managing athletes’ records electronically, working directly with athletic commissions to ensure athletes are licensed and medically cleared in time to compete.

ProAm Sports Medicine is one of the nation s leading providers of COVID-19 testing around live audience sports and entertainment, corporate trade shows and conventions, and education, providing all necessary testing resources combined with technology to ensure the health and safety of all.

Syndicate Mixed Martial Arts is Las Vegas’s premier training facility, offering public and private lessons in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Conditioning, and MMA. They cater to all levels of athletes from ages 4 to 104, allowing you to train with actual UFC pros and veterans. The gym recently expanded by doubling the size of its existing facility to merge the worlds of MMA and Boxing, incorporating a state-of-art strength & conditioning area to provide one of the most comprehensive training centers for all Combat Sport athletes.

Last week, Vegas 411 attended a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the collaboration, which combines all of the services of ProAm and Syndicate MMA into one massive venture. The new facility, located at 6315 S. Rainbow Blvd., is a unique endeavor. It was envisioned by ProAm founder and CEO, James Murphy, making it easier for athletes to obtain thorough, groundbreaking injury treatment and physical therapy next to a world-class MMA gym that will now also feature boxing.

When I realized the burden fighters face in fulfilling medical test requirements before each competition, it became logical for me to help make the task easier by consolidating the process and creating a nationwide network of medical providers. From there, we expanded the practice s services, adding injury treatment for athletes of any sport, said Murphy.

Now we are, what I like to call, a next-generation training and treatment complex that works with all types of athletes who understand that the best care and conditioning can only be provided by medical practitioners who understand athletes and their lifestyles.

At the grand opening celebration, Murphy and John Wood, owner of Syndicate MMA Gym, spoke about the opening of the full-service sports complex and how expedited injury treatment will benefit athletes of all levels. ProAm Sports Medicine Consultant Dr. Jeff Davidson, who also serves as the Chief Medical Consultant for UFC, the Chairman and Medical Director of Valley Hospital s Emergency Department, and a Clinical Associate Professor for the University of Touro Medical School, attended along with:

  • Shane Mosley Jr. professional boxer and instructor at Syndicate MMA
  • Frank Mir American mixed martial artist and professional wrestler
  • Mike Pyle retired American professional mixed martial artist
  • Merab Dvalishvili professional mixed martial artist…and many more.

Invited guests enjoyed light bites and drinks while touring the facility and witnessing demonstrations of equipment and treatments. The ribbon-cutting was attended by the Metro Chamber of Commerce.

ProAm Sports Medicine services are available weekdays from 8 am until 5 pm. A 24-hour support hotline is available at 800-674-9515.

Syndicate MMA facility is open Monday through Thursday 8 am until 9 pm, Fridays from 8 am till 8 pm, and Saturdays from 9 am till 2 pm (closed Sundays).
