In part one of this article, I covered a bunch of new productions…and a brand-new “Show Lounge”….at Alexis Park Resort. I also told you about ALL SHOOK UP moving from Planet Hollywood’s V THEATER to Alexis Park. Now it seems that PIANO MAN is slated to take up residence at V THEATER. It may sound confusing, but Vegas 411 is here to simplify things for you.
Yesterday I received a phone call from Kyle Martin, creator and star of PIANO MAN. The multi-talented musician offered exclusive news to Vegas 411 that he would be moving his Billy Joel/Elton John tribute from Mosaic Theater to V Theater in mid-June. He emphasized that he is very grateful to Sophia Song, Dean Coleman, and the entire team at Mosaic Theater, but has decided to try a different location. You can get up-to-date ticketing information by visiting the V Theater website, the official Piano Man website. or the Piano Man Facebook page.
AUSSIE HEAT moves to NOTORIETY Live

Long-running AUSSIE HEAT will also be departing Mosaic Theater, this time for NOTORIETY Live. That brings the dance-heavy male revue back to its original downtown origins. The show debuted at The D Hotel Casino in 2015, then moved to V Theater before heading to Mosaic on the Strip. Producer/co-creator Darren Sutton (formerly of Aussie Heat) will be rejoining his pals at NOTORIETY when the new WORLD’S GREATEST FREAKSHOW arrives there from Australia next month.
Tickets for Aussie Heat are available at Ticket Kite, or through NOTORIETY Live. The show is slated to reopen on June 16th.

LadyLike Retro-Modern Burlesque

Out with the guys, in with the girls, as MOSAIC THEATER is set to replace Aussie Heat with the new burlesque production LADYLIKE. Not much is known about this show, although its retro color scheme and website give off a cool 1960s vibe:
“LadyLike is an edgy twist on the traditional woman’s role in society. Set in charm school, our cheeky Head Mistress will guide you through four lessons exploring the way women were expected to behave in the vintage era. LadyLike will blend retro style with a modern attitude, creatively combining striptease, critically acclaimed choreography, and showcasing some of the best dancers in Las Vegas.”
Slated to debut on June 5th at 10 pm, LADYLIKE features Cocktail Cabaret‘s Maren Wade, It is intended for adults only. Tickets start at $40 and are available here.

In Part 3 of Summer Show Shuffle, we’ll look in on Michael Carbonaro, Penn and Teller, RECKLESS IN VEGAS, and a bunch of literal freaks.
