The Park MGM hotel is the renovated version of the previous Monte Carlo Resort and Casino. Park MGM opened several years ago and has been quite successful. Located in the middle of the Strip, it’s in an ideal location for tourists. The upgraded hotel is quite nice-looking and has a modern atmosphere. It’s also one of the few hotels with a NON-smoking casino. Inside, you have several dining options, including a sports bar, an Italian food hall, and even a steakhouse. Not to mention the wealth of restaurants just outside its doors.
Currently, Park MGM is offering very low rates starting at around $40 a night. But, remember- there’s a $42 resort fee per night. So, the total bill is closer to $100 a night. But it’s an awesome rate for a room on the Strip, even if the in-room amenities are limited. Don’t expect to find a coffee maker in your room. Most of the restaurants on the property will deliver to your room for a $9 fee.
All in all, Park MGM is the perfect place to stay if you want to be on the Strip and don’t need the flash and glare of a fancy hotel room. Use the money you saved on the room to check out one of the headliners heading to the Park MGM theater this summer. Bruno Mars kicks off the festivities in July.
