If you are tired of the Strip, one place that you can check out is Peru Chicken. With two location in Las Vegas, this place offers various South American dishes with a focus on flavorful chicken.
Peru Chicken excels at grilled chicken- really, you should try it. However, while the service is great and the food portions are huge, it can be a little expensive. This is the restaurant you come to when you want to split a meal. The breakfast meals are all heavy on the side of meat with pork or chicken platters served with fried sweet potatoes. Lunch offers many types of chicken dishes including the Pollo con papas fritas y Ensalada. The ceviche de Pescado is absolutely amazing. The main dishes are also heavy on meat and chicken. You can have french fries, fried plantains, or rice to go with your dishes.
Peru Chicken is not a fancy restaurant but offers a different perspective on beef and chicken dishes. The one major negative of this place is that it does not cater to vegans or vegetarians unless they’re happy with ice cream, fries, or sweet potatoes.
For an average meal, expect to pay about $20-$30 but rest assured you will not go hungry for the rest of the day.
Peru Chicken is located at 3886 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89102 and 2055 E Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89119
