One of the major sticking points among many tourists who come to Las Vegas is the resort fee. Many hotels in the Downtown area and along the Strip add the resort fee for parking, wifi, use of the pool, and even the gym. The resort fees can vary anywhere from $30-$90. Some of these resorts charge fees for the use of the Wifi on a daily basis.
One hotel that does not charge resort fees is the Best Western Plus Casino Royale on the Strip. It’s next door to Madame Tussaud’s at the Venetian. Best Western Plus Casino Royale is not the most elegant hotel but it has NO resort fees and there is free wifi and a fitness center. The hotel is located next to many eateries and there is a large outdoor pool. The rooms have all the basic amenities like a coffee maker, TV, and a minibar.
If you want to save a minimum of $25/day on resort fees alone, then this is the place to stay. The cheapest rates start at $92 and during peak season expect to pay $130 and above. Because of its great location, the hotel is usually full so pre-book before you arrive. I doubt you can get a better deal.
