Good news- there's a new steakhouse at the Vegas Flamingo. I can feel your excitement already. Bugsy & Meyer's Steakhouse opened up in July amid the pandemic, but the spot is winning hearts and is now the talk of the town.
Like most restaurants on the Strip, Bugsy & Meyers serves mouth-watering foods and drinks, but what makes it unique is the design that acknowledges the colorful history of the Flamingo and Las Vegas. Even though the restaurant's initial design was for convention business, which hasn't been real for the past few months, the management hopes to offer the usual services until COVID-19 is right behind us, while visitors enjoy their trademark steak.
The restaurant opened on July 2, 2020. Occupying what was formerly Center Cut Steakhouse, the name may have changed, but the steak aroma and taste became better. Caesars Entertainment, the Flamingo's owner, transformed the steakhouse into something extraordinary with just $10 million worth of investment.
But why the name? Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel and Meyer Lansky are renowned mobsters, and they put Vegas on the map for all the wrong reasons, but the infamous legends still live on. And it's not just the name that raises some eyebrows, but also the cleverly designed entrance. Disguised as a bakery, you would think eating steak in Vegas is illegal, and the CIA is watching you. That's not the case. It's all for sheer pleasure!
Every Drink and Meal is Perfectly Created
A few yards into the Bugsy & Meyers, you will find six distinct spaces. A lounge, center bar, patio, raw bar, and speakeasy. All the spaces are relaxing and classy.
Lamar Moore, the head chef at Bugsy & Meyer, won Food Network's Vegas Chef Prizefight. He's that talented. The executive chef, Honorio Mecinas, is another great chef who has been around for 15 years. Their cocktail menu is absolutely one of the best, with Mother Superior topping the list.
The restaurant deserves an award and about to be one of Vegas's most incredible eatery points. It's arguably one of the best restaurants by Caesars Entertainment. If you get a chance, go explore.
