The Clark County Museum currently has an exhibit called Lighting Up Las Vegas: YESCO Marks a Glittering Century. It s about the Young Electric Sign Company s history in Las Vegas. They ve supplied so many of the iconic neon signs we associate with the Strip.
YESCO has been producing signs for Las Vegas since the 1920s. This company is responsible for the creation of signs for the Boulder Club, Fremont Street s Pioneer Club, The Golden Nugget, Eldorado Club, cowboy Vegas Vic, Binion s Gambling Hall, and more!
Browse through nearly a decade of Las Vegas signage by looking at photos, original signs, and materials that have been provided courtesy of local organizations.
This exhibit at The Clark County Museum is presented in partnership with the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority s (LVCVA) Las Vegas News Bureau Archive and The Neon Museum. It opened on May 6 and will remain open through August 29.
