Allegiant Stadium will be hosting International Club Soccer Champions, England's Chelsea FC, and Mexico's Club América, on Saturday, July 16. This is only the third time these teams will play against each other, and neither will have home-field advantage. Vegas as the setting will surely add excitement to the match!
Chelsea won both matches the last two times these teams faced each other. Chelsea are two-time Champions League and six-time English Premier League champions. Club América is accomplished too. They're the winner of more league championships than any other Mexican club and have the most international club titles in Concacaf.
Allegiant Stadium has hosted some notable soccer matches in the short time that it's been open. Last year Vegas hosted the Leagues Cup Final and the Concacaf Gold Cup Final, which sold out in 90 minutes, making it the fastest sellout in tournament history!
