It’s no longer a secret that some of the best (and most affordable) live entertainment in Las Vegas takes place off-Strip. From Virgin Hotel’s The Shag Room and Alexis Park’s resident productions to Downtown’s Notoriety Live, there’s always something great to enjoy that won’t drain your wallet.
Just across the highway from Aria Resort, The Space is a second home to dozens of high-profile performers. On their off-nights from major productions, they flock here to do their own thing, stretching creative muscles while having tons of fun. Two such entertainers are MaKenzie Fly and Colin Cahill. The real-life spouses descend on The Space this Wednesday, October 20th, for ‘Kenzie and Colin: Live is Beautiful”.

Colin and MaKenzie won the hearts of Las Vegas locals during the pandemic shutdown when they created a series of irreverent videos under the moniker “Mak and the Cheese”. Clever, funny, and ever-optimistic, the duo’s song “Quarantine Fifteen” became a bit of a rage. They performed it virtually in April 2020 for a telethon hosted by….where else…The Space. The fundraiser benefitted out-of-work entertainers affected by COVID-19 closures.

MaKenzie Fly is an accomplished performer whose credits include Tournament of Kings, Sex Tips for Straight Women from a Gay Man, Vegas! The Show and Jubilee. A graduate of Belmont University with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts in Musical Theater, MaKenzie is Director of Yoga Teacher Training at Lifetime Green Valley and a Certified Health and Wellness Coach. Colin Cahill has a witty and spot-on way of summarizing his bio: “Las Vegas entertainer and frequently shirtless person”. His abs are apparently as important as his voice, as the singer’s physique has been flaunted in such tantalizing productions as Atomic Saloon Show, Sex Tips For Straight Women from a Gay Man, and Men of the Strip male revue. Never one to take himself seriously, Cahill is a founding member of rock band Original Chaos, and is a frequent guest at Kenny Davidsen’s Bow Tie Cabaret.

This Wednesday, October 20th at 7:30 pm, the couple brings their own brand of music and mayhem to The Space with “Kenzie and Colin: Live is Beautiful“. The show is described as “A night of unnecessarily live entertainment. Live Life Lively.” It’s part of the venue’s Wine Wednesday series, and includes a tasting of the night featuring wines from Vavasour & Kuleto Estate. Tickets are only $25 and can be reserved here. A Monzu Italian Charcuterie Board can be pre-ordered to enjoy during the performance for an additional $20.
The Space is located at 3460 Cavaretta Court, Las Vegas 89103.
