Hang Out at Fergusons Downtown
The Ferguson Motel used to be an iconic downtown landmark. Now, it has been transformed into a hub for small local businesses. The motel structure hasn t been changed, and its original neon sign still stands out front. Once inside the grounds of Fergusons Downtown, you ll find Mothership Coffee Roasters in the middle of the courtyard surrounded by unique eclectic shops that you could easily spend hours exploring.
After grabbing a cup of coffee, make your way around the old motel rooms that now house a plant shop, hair salon, tintype photography studio, vintage clothing/accessory shop, and more! Or you can hang out in the open air courtyard and check out the Big Rig Jig sculpture (pictured below) that somehow defies gravity.
The community based shopping center always has something going on. Local food vendors, classes for kids, pop up shops, musicians, and creators of all kinds occupy the yard. Foodies, shopaholics, kids, pets, and all are welcome to enjoy the space. Come on down and check it out!
