The Springs Preserve is debuting a new exhibit on May 29 called Rescue. This exhibit is about the scenarios that rescue workers encounter and what they involve. It covers several topics, from unique situations to the techniques and equipment these real-life heroes use to do their everyday jobs.

The Rescue exhibition originated in Perth, Australia. It was created by the Scitech Science Museum. Rescue explains what a rescue scenario involves, who the professionals are who put themselves in harm s way to help, and what to do when you need some serious rescuing!

There are hands-on features throughout the new installation to immerse you in rescue mode!

Here you ll learn about the jobs of firefighters, surf rescue, and sea life survival. You ll also learn about the important and evolving role that technology plays in rescue missions.

Rescue will be at the Springs Preserve from Sunday, May 29, through Monday, September 5. It s open daily from 9 am to 4 pm to all park guests. You can find it in the Origen Museum.

General Admission tickets to the Springs Preserve costs $10 for adults and $5 for kids (ages 3-17). Tickets can be purchased online.
