Everything You Need To Know About the 2022 World Series of Poker

Learn about the 2022 WSOP, the biggest event in the poker calendar!

Many poker fans are eagerly waiting for this year s edition of the World Series of Poker. This summer, it will be one of the highlights, starting May 31 and finally ending on July 19, 2022.

The event will congregate the best players from different parts of the world to showcase their skills.

Event Venue

The venue for this special is set to be the Horseshoe Hotel (formerly Bally’s) and Paris Las Vegas. There is a lot of anticipation for this year s poker tournament as it will be the event’s debut at this venue. In previous years, the games would occur at the Rio Hotel and Casino. For seventeen years, that has been the case, nearly clocking two decades of this legendary event.

The two new venues provide 600 poker tables, ideal for a large tournament such as this. They cover about 150,000 square feet providing ample space for players, officials, and fans of the event. The Las Vegas monorail will ease movement between the two venues and other properties around the area, which is convenient.

Event Schedule

The full schedule was released towards the end of February this year. The main event will have four starting flights. There will be 88 bracelet events throughout the tournament, with a detailed list of online events. Vince Vaughn, an avid poker player, and actor will be the master of ceremony.

Other highlights in the schedule include the $400 Colossus and the Tournament of Champions, exclusive to ring and bracelet winners only.
