Winterfest is back this holiday season! Water Street will once again be transformed and decorated with lights and more. The festivities will start on Thursday, December 2, with the Christmas tree lighting ceremony at 5 pm. This will also include Holiday Hop Happy Hour, from 5 to 7 pm where select restaurants and bars along Water Street will have deals on holiday specials; this will be the case every Thursday during the month. Winterfest includes even more fun activities all month long! Here s the schedule of events:

Friday, December 3 at 6 pm: Kringle s Kids Night Out will offer kids activities like crafts and games along with treats of cookies and pizza.

Saturday, December 4 at 3 pm: Claus Cookie Crawl is a little tour along Water Street that will stop at different places for cookie tastings.
At 7 pm: a free concert of classic holiday favorites, Holiday on Broadway will be put on by Opera Las Vegas.

Thursday, December 9 at 5:30 pm: will be a movie night outside on the plaza, showing Arthur Christmas.

Friday, December 10 & 17: Santa will be out for pictures starting at 5pm.

Saturday, December 11 starting at 10 am is the Holiday Ornament Walk. Stations will be set up for all to decorate their own ornaments.
At 7 pm another concert, this time it s Barefoot Movement, a Nashville bluegrass band, singing Christmas tunes. Tickets are $10.

Thursday, December 16 at 5:30 pm: How The Grinch Stole Christmas move night

The holiday festival comes to a close on Saturday, December 18 at 7 pm, with one last concert of Ryan Shupe and the RubberBand playing more holiday hits. Tickets are $10.
