Vegas is back- mostly.
MGM Resorts reopened two powerhouses this week- the luxurious Aria resort and the massive Mandalay Bay. Combined, the two have 8,404 hotel rooms.
Not that it matters. The hotels are capped at 50 percent capacity, which means that most of those gorgeous rooms will remain unused. Still, the Strip should churn up a decent crowd for the upcoming Fourth of July weekend.
Most of Aria s famed restaurants are open. The poker room, spa, and Shops at Crystals are open as well.
Mandalay Bay s options are more limited. The poker room and many of its restaurants remain closed. Restaurants that are open include Stripsteak, Citizens, and the House of Blues.
All guests must wear masks.
