Why Tom Brady Should Join the Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders arguably have nothing to lose heading into the 2024 NFL season.  This team, along with their first-year head coach, is endlessly mocked and has some of the worst betting odds. The Raiders also have one of the most underwhelming Quarterback rooms in the NFL, which is going to be a major disadvantage.

 1. The Raiders are desperate

That’s why the Las Vegas Raiders might as well throw the hail mary that some have been waiting for and try to court Tom Brady. The move gives Las Vegas the most prolific quarterback of the modern NFL era and could be a real game-changer. It would, at the very least, be exciting to watch.

And that means more attention for the Raiders.

2. Tom Brady is leaving the door open

“I’m not opposed to it,” Brady said of a possible comeback on the “Deep Cuts” podcast. “I don’t know if they’re gonna let me if I become an owner of an NFL team, but I don’t know if — I don’t know, I’m always gonna be in good shape, (I’ll) always be able to throw the ball.”

He might even be able to put his deal with Fox Sports on hold for another year.

While Brady only mounted an 8-9 record in his final season, he finished with a completion percentage of 66% and threw for 25 touchdowns. He also threw nine interceptions, and those numbers might improve with the Raiders. He will at least have some of the best hands in the NFL on his side.

3. Tom Brady and the Raiders could change history!

Just imagine what Tom  Brady could do with guys like Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Michael Mayer, Brock Bowers, and Tre Tucker. He would also have Zamir White. And some are saying this year’s defense is the toughest it’s ever been.

So, what does anyone have to lose here? Brady has the power to elevate his legacy with a championship for a third team. It would mean even more that he came out of retirement a second time to do it. For the Raiders, this gives them the best show on turf and a legitimate chance of at least contending or a wild card spot. Brady still has that arm and some very accurate passing.

Brady put up 6.4 yards a pass, with over 4000 yards and a rating of 90%. It would be crazy to think he couldn’t put up the same numbers if given a chance with the Raiders.

The Raiders also have very little to lose. There might be another large cap hit like with Jimmy Garoppollo, but isn’t it worth the gamble? Do you know what this man would do for the  Las Vegas Raiders
