#5 Kyle Busch’s wife bans him from Sprint Cars
Key point: Samantha Busch lays down the law on what cars Kyle Busch can race
Kyle Busch is a man who loves to go fast, and he’s one of the best drivers in NASCAR history. The Las Vegas native proves it every week in the NASCAR Cup Series. He also has over 200 wins in NASCAR’s top three series while also being an ace in other driving disciplines.
There is even talk of him racing in the Indianapolis 500, where speeds reach 200 MPH.
Despite this love for racing, Kyle Busch’s wife, Samantha, has one kind of car that she won’t let her man step foot in. That would be the 400 Sprint Cars that usually race at high speed on banked dirt tracks.
The racecar’s light has led to some wild crashes, so Samantha wants Busch to stay away. She admitted as much in an interview on X last week.
“It’s not happening. No. I draw the line somewhere. They are SO dangerous,” Samantha said via David Gravel on X.
#4 We learn why the Las Vegas Raiders traded for Geno Smith
Key point: Las Vegas Raiders try to justify Russell Wilson trade
Geno Smith is the Las Vegas Raiders’ latest quarterback experiment, and he doesn’t exactly look promising. The former Seahawk finished last season with 4,320 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 15 interceptions in a mixed showing.
Raiders GM John Spytek discussed why they chose Smith in a recent interview, and it just sounds like they ran out of options.
“We were trying to be involved in any possible player movement that was out there at the quarterback position,” Spytek said via the team’s YouTube channel.
“There’s a familiarity with coach [Pete Carroll] and with Geno from Seattle, and Geno played his best football for a coach there. When you watch Geno through the years, he can throw the football with the best of any of them.”
Despite Smith’s troublesome numbers last season, he does have a history of being productive under Carroll.

#3 Las Vegas Golden Knights are on a six-game winning streak
Key point: Golden Knights now on a 6-0 winning streak after beating the Predators
The Knights’ Kingdom is now 6-0 following a 3-1 bashing of the Nashville Predators Saturday night. Las Vegas has beat the Predators, the Wild, the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Red Wings, the Blackhawks, and the Bruins.
Saturday’s matchup started with a second-period goal by the Predators that had Las Vegas fans on edge. However, that changed in a matter of minutes when Jack Eichel knocked in a wrist shot to even the score. Las Vegas stole the show from there with two goals in the third period.
Adin Hill also looked like he was made of steel after blocking 23 of 24 shots. He finished the game with a .958% save percentage. The victory brings the Golden Knights to 45-20-8 heading into their Tuesday game against the Edmonton Oilers, and they also sit atop the Pacific division.
#2 Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins vs CM Punk main event details announced
Key point: CM Punk vs Roman Reigns vs Seth Rollins announced as night one main event
WrestleMania 41 took another unexpected turn last week after WWE announced that Roman Reigns versus Seth Rollins versus CM Punk would be the main event on night one. This marks the first WrestleMania main event of Punk’s career.
The match was made official during a segment on Smackdown where all three men shared the ring to sign the contract. Punk could visibly be seen in tears due to the moment’s gravity, while Seth Rollins kept claiming Punk didn’t deserve it. Roman Reigns just sat there laughing.
Unfortunately for other big profile matches, this means they will not get the chance to main-event WrestleMania. These include Charlotte Flair versus Tiffany Stratton and Jey Uso versus Gunther, who could have stolen the show.
#1 Can the Raiders still draft Shedeur Sanders?
Key point: Shedeur Sanders could still get drafted by the Raiders
Shedeur Sanders is arguably the biggest name in this year’s NFL draft, and the Las Vegas Raiders may still want him. Of course, drafting him requires a complicated series of events to play out, but it doesn’t seem impossible.
Now, the Raiders have the sixth overall pick with a chance to move up via trade. Even if they don’t, the teams in front of them might already have what they need. Gustavo Rivadeneyra of Marca believes this is how it could play out on draft day.
” Recent free agency moves have cleared a path for the Raiders. Quarterback Cam Ward appears headed to the Tennessee Titans, Penn State’s star defender Abdul Carter is expected to land with the Cleveland Browns,” Rivadeneyra said. “[The] New York Giants have just signed Russell Wilson as their new quarterback… Shedeur Sanders could be available for Las Vegas at No. 6.”
