1. Davantae Adams is the safest bet on the Las Vegas Raiders

The Las Vegas Raiders don’t have a lot going for them after their week one loss against The Chargers, but there was one shining light. That turned out to be the offseason addition of, Davantae Adams who caught 10 balls for 141 yards and one touchdown. According to Fantasydata.com, he finished with a total of 20.1 points in Fantasy football.

While there is an injury risk factor due to how often Carr targets his new weapon, he should be a solid producer if he stays healthy. The man just has a knack for making big plays on the ball and there isn’t a lot that can stop it. Maybe put him on the bench if you find a better matchup, but Admas seems like the safest bet.

2. Stay away from the  Las Vegas Raiders’ defense right now

If you were one of the unfortunate souls that selected the Raider’s defense, cut your losses now. Don’t wait a week. Don’t wait another second. Go to NFL.com right now and look for better statistically ranked defense. You will be much better off. Not only is that evident by the squad not forcing a single turnover against the Chargers, but also by allowing 24 points! This defense has no energy and no direction right now.

They scored a whopping 10 fantasy football points against the Chargers, making them one of the worst in the league. Again, avoid these guys at all costs unless you think you have a matchup advantage.

3. Daniel Carlson could be a lucrative asset to your team

Don’t overlook a kicker like Daniel Carlson. He scored ten fantasy football points in the opening game but had an average of 13 points last season. If his below-average performance was just a  fluke, he could become a very lucrative option for fantasy owners. He even had 15 Fantasy football points per game at one point in his career!

4. Wait and see with the Las Vegas Raiders’ running game

There were a lot of surprising decisions made during the season opener, but the lack of ground game was a noticeable one. Joshua Jacobs took 10 carries for 57 yards an average of 5.7 yards a carry and six fantasy points. The only other person to take a snap was Brandon Boldon, who had three carries for seven yards.

What was so surprising about this was the fact that 2022 draft picks Zamir White and Brittain Brown didn’t take one snap. Between that head-scratcher and Jacobs’ shaky performance, it looks like the running game is very much in flux. This means fans playing fantasy football should stay away from Raiders’ running backs.

5. Don’t give up on Derek Carr yet

While Derek Carr only managed 13.8 points in Fantasy Football against the Chargers, he still showed a lot of upsides. In fact, he went 22 of 37 for 295 yards and two touchdowns. There are also those pesky three interceptions but there is a chance that Carr can fix that in the coming games.
