Here’s what’s going on in October.
1. Friday, October 7: Knockdown Tournament
Want to fight? Want to hear the words “finish them!” shouted at you while performing a signature final blow on an opponent? Or maybe you want to want to play some Super Smash Brother Ultimate, where you can choose from a variety of Nintendo characters to choose from. Enjoy kicking butt as Donkey Kong or destroy opponents as Samis from Metroid. It’s all up to you! Make sure to strategize, though.
Knockdown is a tournament that will take place at Hyperex Arena on October 7 at 5 pm. Come out and prove you are The Knockout Champion and have fun with friends in the process. Also, enjoy blasting your friends across the screen with your weapon of choice. It’s all good fun!
2. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, October 18 – 19 + 25 – 26: Social Fight Night
Want to fight for free? Hyper Ex Arena is offering a Social fight night where gamers can play Blazblue: Cross Tag Battle, Catherine, DNF Duel, Guilty gear, KOF 15, and Tekken. Play your favorite fighting games and leave your opponents in a heap on the battlefield. Make sure to strategize, because button mashing will probably not cut it here.

3. Thursday, October 27: Rocket League Tournament
We all love a good game of rocket league now and then. While not everyone plays competitively it is still a fun little gem to pick up. Not only is that due to how it puts you in control of a small car in search of the ball, but also due to the realistic physics that it employs. 4. Wednesdays, October 19 + 26: Multiverssus 1v1 Tournament
Wednesday nights feature a stacked schedule at HyperEX arena, and part of that is an intense 1v1 multiverse tournament. The facility even does a 2v2 on occasion just to shake up the action. This night features a wide range of games, including Multiversuses, League of Legends, Teamfight tactics, and more!
