Is a brunch show in a hotel really worth waking up early for on a Sunday?
Can you mix fried chicken, mimosas, and live Motown without it feeling cheesy?
Or is this just another Vegas “experience” that sounds cooler than it is?
I didn’t know either — so I tried the Motown Brunch Las Vegas for myself.
Here’s what went down (and yeah, it was way better than I expected).
First Impressions: Motown Meets Morning Coffee

I walked into the Ahern Boutique Hotel not really knowing what to expect. It felt fancy but not too stiff. The room where the brunch happens is small-ish, which I liked — it didn’t feel like some giant Vegas show where you’re just another person in a crowd.
People were laughing, sipping coffee (and champagne), and the Vocalists were already warming up. It felt more like someone’s cool wedding reception than a corporate show. In a good way.
The Food: Brunch Buffet with a Soulful Twist
Here’s the deal — I wasn’t expecting much from the food. I figured it’d be just okay. But this brunch actually hit.
Here’s what was on my plate:
Dish | My Take |
---|---|
Belgium Waffles | Soft in the middle, crisp on the edges — solid 9/10 |
Fried Chicken | Hot, crispy, and not greasy (thankfully) |
Scrambled Eggs | Fluffy and simple — not rubbery at all |
Applewood Bacon | Smoky, crispy, no complaints |
Mini Pastries & Fruit | Light, fresh, didn’t feel like an afterthought |
Pasta & Salad | Good filler if you’re extra hungry |
The coffee was strong (a win), and the full bar was open if you were feeling a mimosa or bloody mary.
Everything tasted fresh. Not 5-star fancy, but way better than buffet brunches I’ve had at some big-name places.
The Show: EC Adams Killed It

Let me be honest: I’m not even a big Motown head, and I still had a blast.
EC Adams can sing, and the Vocalists behind him? Tight. The energy in the room was real — people were clapping, singing along, and dancing in their seats. No joke, I saw a lady in her 60s dancing like it was prom night.
You’ll hear the hits — Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Diana Ross — all with that live performance that makes it 10x better than a playlist.

Motown Brunch Las Vegas Review: My Honest Take

If you like brunch and live music, this is 100% worth your time.
The food’s legit, the vibe is fun, and the music? Honestly, it made my whole day better. It didn’t feel like some awkward tourist trap. It felt like people just enjoying good food and good music together.
Would I go again? For sure — especially if I had friends visiting who wanted something “Vegas-y” without being stuck on the Strip.
Final Tip: Come hungry. And wear something comfy — you’re gonna want to move in your seat when the music starts.
