I believe Las Vegas deserves all its titles: America’s Playground, Entertainment Capital of the World, and Sin City. But these names are associated with its no-inhibition culture, live performances, and the mega-casinos. Vegas is more than that. For instance, you can decide to ride a helicopter and see the world-famous Grand Canyon, play a round of golf, or visit the many galleries and museums. Today, I’ll give you the ten best things you can do in Las Vegas.

#1. Visit Las Vegas Museums

Las Vegas has a colorful past, and you can learn about it in many of the museums. You should consider the Mob Museum, the Neon Museum, and the Las Vegas Natural History Museum.

#2. Explore the Strip

The Strip is known as America’s Party Central. It’s lined with exotic casinos and hotels, each with over-the-top restaurants, bars, theaters, and clubs. If you think about Las Vegas, the Strip is what comes to mind.

#3. Watch the Fountains of Bellagio

The Fountains of Bellagio are an iconic free show on the Strip. It has over 12,00 nozzles in the 8-acre manmade freshwater lake that sprays up to 460 ft. into the air at specific times to selected soundtracks like “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion and “Viva Las Vegas” by Elvis Presley. If there aren’t any unusual weather conditions, the shows run every 30 minutes from 3 - 6:30 pm and every 15 minutes from 7 pm - 12 am.
