What To Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (Sep 3 – 5)

Hang out at Lake Las Vegas, get wasted at the Drag Brunch, feast your eyes on BurlesQ, and more this weekend in Las Vegas. Happy Labor Day!

1. Enjoy a sultry burlesque show

Let me tell you a Las Vegas secret that all locals know- you don’t need to go to the Strip for great entertainment.

One of the best off-Strip shows you can watch right now is BurlesQ at the Alexis Park Resort showroom. Think sexy, vintage glamour with a dash of humor. All of the women are professionally trained dancers and it shows. Every dance routine is mesmerizing.

You can buy tickets for BurlesQ here.

When: Thursday through Sunday @ 9 pm

2. Have a fabulous time at the Garden

The drag queens are here, and we love it.

Every weekend Downtown Las Vegas bar The Garden transforms into a drag paradise. Choose from a Dine & Drag dinner featuring a three-course meal and raunchy performances, or head to the Drag Brunch to feast on breakfast food and bottomless mimosas.  Prepare to laugh and indulge in delicious food either way.

When: the Dine & Drag dinner runs Fridays at 7:30 pm. The Drag Brunch runs Saturday and Sunday at 11 am and 2 on.

3. Party at Lake Las Vegas

Celebrate Labor Day weekend with a bang at the Lake Las Vegas Food & Golf Festival.

The Reflection Bay Golf Club hosts the three-day extravaganza. There will be plenty of food and drinks mixed with daytime golf tournaments and nightly parties. Local band Zowie Bowie will provide the entertainment.

When: Friday through Sunday

4. Get hyped at the Trap Brunch

You’re in Sin City; party like you mean it!

Skip the regular Denny’s breakfast and head over to the Trap Brunch at Hash a Go Go. The menu’s full of southern classics like chicken and waffles and grits. You can also take advantage of the mimosa bar. Live DJs will set the mood.

When: Saturday 4 – 8 pm

5. Celebrate Caribbean culture

One Love is a Caribbean food and music festival.

Let the week’s stresses float away as you dance to reggae music and eat amazing food.  This might be the chillest event on the list.

Just remember- You still can’t smoke weed in public.

When: Sunday 1 – 10 pm
