Happy Halloween! It’s time to party- you deserve it. Let’s check out what’s happening this weekend

1. Go all out for Halloween

It’s Halloween weekend, you’re in Sin City, and it’s time to party!

Dress up and get your drink on at Gold Spike every night this weekend for wild themed nights like Zombie Rave and Squid Game. Money, Baby! at Virgin Hotels is adding Halloween zest to its Sunday Night Football party with specialty cocktails and food. If you prefer to get out of the bar and into nature, hop onto the La Contessa for a 90-minute Halloween cruise on Lake Las Vegas. The voyage takes off at 11 am and 2 pm on Saturday and Sunday. 

2. Be cultured at the Silver State Film Festival

This weekend is an independent movie lover’s dream. 

The Silver State Film Festival is a four-day extravaganza featuring dozens of independent movies, some of which were made by Las Vegas-based producers. 

All of the movies will be shown inside the Orlean’s Century 18 theater. You can buy a $15 ticket for a two-hour block showing one to five movies, or you can pay $50 for an all-day pass.

3. Watch Sting inside the Colosseum

Sting’s in town! It just took 17 months. 

Sting’s “My songs” residency was repeatedly delayed during the pandemic, but the moment is finally here. The rocker will play two nights inside the Colosseum at Caesars Palace this weekend. You’ll hear all of the old hits as well as some new material from his latest album, The Bridge. 

Tickets are still available online. If you can’t catch either of the shows this weekend, Sting will return a few times over the next few months. 

When: Friday and Saturday at 8 pm

4. Eat a Halloween-themed brunch at El Luchador

Celebrate Halloween with a special brunch at El Luchador. The restaurant’s located in the Mountain’s Edge area. 

Love scary movies? Mention your favorite to your server to find out about a secret-menu Halloween cocktail. Dress up in costume and you can scoop up a free shot. Costumed kids receive goody bags.  

When: Sunday 12 – 5 pm

5. Pop open the bubbly at Red Rock

Have a boozy Halloween inside Red Rock’s Lucky Bar

The bar is hosting “Yelloween,” a party featuring  Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label. Drink, mingle, and learn about your future from roaming fortune tellers and tarot card readers. Dress up for a chance to win prizes.
