What To Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (Jan 7 – 9)

Revel in Late Night MAGIC, say goodbye to Christmas at Glittering Lights, go on the Best Dam Wine walk, and more this weekend in Las Vegas

1. Experience Late Night MAGIC

Las Vegas has a lot of magic shows- but they’re not like this.

Late Night MAGIC is an adults-only magic show featuring the city’s best illusionists. You might recognize host, co-creator and co-producer, Douglas “LEFTY” Leferovich from his multiple Strip performances. He’s also appeared on TV’s Masters of Illusion.

Forget everything you think you know about magic shows. Late Night MAGIC is naughtier, wilder, and funnier than you can imagine.

Shows run on Friday and Saturday @ 11 pm.

2. Say goodbye to Glittering Lights

It’s the last weekend to check out Glittering Lights, the drive-thru winter wonderland that showcases colorful light displays.

You may not feel very Christmas-y, but here are a few reasons why you might want to head down to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway anyway.

On Friday, the first 200 cars in line receive two coupons for free fountain drinks at Terrible’s.

On Saturday, the first 200 cars receive a Port of Subs coupon for a free sandwich.

On Sunday, the first 100 cars receive four tickets to Farrell Dillon, Tape Face, or Marriage Can Be Murder.

3. Get boozy in Boulder City

This Saturday, sip on wine and explore Boulder City’s historic downtown district with the Best Dam Wine Walk.

Along the way, you’ll stop by at least 20 different restaurants and bars. It’s the perfect chance to escape the Strip and maybe make a friend. And, of course, drink lots of wine!

Tickets start at $25. You must check in by 6:30 pm on Saturday at The Forge on California Avenue.

4. Feel the power of the spoken word

Hip-hop is poetry.

At the Hip-Hop and Poetry Night at Brooklyn Bowl, you’ll hear hip-hop artists, poets, and jazz musicians. Each artist gets 5 minutes to express their passion.

Tickets start at $18. Doors open at 7 pm on Saturday.

5. Show your support for Raider Nation

The last game of the season is here and Raider Nation is ready to party.

Before the  Raiders Vs Chargers game, head over to the Fremont Country Club to dance and get wild with other fans. The Downtown Las Vegas party will be hosted by Too Short.

Tickets start at $50. Doors open at 8 pm on Saturday.
