What to Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (Jan 22 – 24)

Indian + Jamaican fusion anyone?

1. Celebrate the lunar new year

Bellagio’s extravagent conservatory is  always a feast for the eyes. The latest version is an elaborate celebration of the lunar new year. The completely free exhibit is a lovely spot to relax and escape the whirl of Las Vegas.

2. Watch Conor McGregor and Dustin Poirier throw down

Sure the fight’s not going down in Las Vegas, but Sin City is the UFC’s real home. Bars across the city will stream the fight live starting at 7 pm on Saturday. If you’re on the Strip, check out Paris’ Beer Park or Mandalay Bay’s Ri Ra Irish Pub.

3. Enjoy an Indian and Jamaican mashup

It’s the era of food fusion. The latest version is a one night-only pairing of Jamaican food company Yaad Patty and Chef Hemant Kishore of the Toddy Shop at a boutique location in the Dowtown Arts District. You’ll chow down on spiced jerk chicken braised in a flavorful curry and Indian-style biryani rice. You take your meal to go or snag a seat inside. Dinner is served on Sunday.

The meal is $54 and serves two people.

4. Discover your secret desires with The Man Who Knows

The world is wild but we’re all still connected- and Alain Nu shows us how. Alaon Nu: The Man Who Knows is a fun, mysterious show put on by master mentalist. Have you ever had your mind read?
