What to Do in Las Vegas This Weekend (Aug 27 – 29)

Knock back some brews at Beerfest, be titillated by Rock Candy, chill out at Elia Beach Club and more this weekend in Las Vegas

1. Prepare for a robot takeover at BattleBots

Get ready for war- robot style.

The BattleBox Arena at Caesar Entertainment Studios is hosting the 2021 BattleBots World Championship this weekend. Teams from around the world will pit their robots against each other in an all-out death battle. It can get pretty intense. The competition will air on TV later this year for those who can’t make it.

When:

Friday through Sunday at 12 – 4 pm and 6 – 10 pm.

2. Chill out @ Elia Beach Club

Summer’s winding down, but Sin City’s pool season is still going strong. Elia Beach Club at Virgin hotels Las Vegas is one of the newest pools in town, and it shows. Everything still feels fresh and exciting. They’re trying to pump up a big crowd, so ladies get free drinks. Fellas get to enjoy the eye candy. 

When:

Friday through Sunday, 11 am – 5 pm 

3. Ogle some Rock Candy

Can you believe there was a time when Las Vegas didn’t have male strip shows? What a horrible world! Now, there are a couple of shows in town where you can ogle sexy, dancing men, and Rock Candy at the Alexis Park Resort is one of the best. The men are there to bring fantasies to life. Everything is seen through the feminine gaze of Rosa, the show’s host. 

When:

Friday through Sunday @ 8 pm 

4. Experience the Women’s Health and Beauty Expo

The 21st Annual Las Vegas Women’s Health and Beauty Expo is a fun event featuring vendors and products that appeal to women. You can find items for mothers, for students, for working women, for women who just want to feel more beautiful and healthy. Vendors will be giving away thousands of samples, so you can really get a taste for everything they’re offering. 

When: 

Saturday, 9 am – 4 pm 

5. Drink a few brews at Beerfest

Craft beer lovers, this one’s for you. Big Dog’s, a fantastic local bar, is hosting its annual Beerfest. Try dozens of craft beers, many of which were produced by local breweries. There will also be good food and chill reggae music on deck. Too bad you can’t bring a joint!
